I know, I know, it's like being back in Dorothy's Kansas---where's all the color? The thing is, I begin work on a new show this coming Monday, and I will thus have much less time each day to doodle these A1s. I've been thinking about other ways to draw them (and other styles in which to draw them---but that's another conversation) since before I began this project, and the all-pencil execution makes sense for those days when time is scarce. And I like the way it looks, dammit. So I guess what I'm saying is that you'll be seeing this style in the future. Embrace it. Love it. Feel the 2B Tombow positivity.
drawing the news every day in 2017 and, if the world doesn't blow up this year, maybe even beyond.
