European credit chaos, strikes in Britain, and further revelations about corruption in the LA county prison system were no match for the advertising juggernaut that is the The Kardashian sisters (via wraparound ad--and I'd like to point out that all year I've been calling those half-page adverts "wraparound ads," although I have no idea if they are in reality called something else. If anyone out there knows the proper, no-doubt colorful industry jargon for these commercial pleas, leave me a comment or an email and I'll, um, do something nice for you someday.). To make things a little more interesting, I've paired one of them with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Woody Allen. And don't tell me you wouldn't watch that reality show. You totally would.
